NHSOB started strongly and good runs from Ethan Clayden, Peter Davies and James Mundy were stopped by good Cwmbran defence, just as they looked like reaping rewards for their efforts.
As the half progressed, NHSOB found themselves pinned back in their own half as Cwmbran started to use their big runners to good affect to make holes in the NHSOB defence. This was rewarded when Cwmbran scored 2 well taken tries to lead at Half time 2-0.
NHSOB came out of blocks in the 2nd half and took the initiative again and strong work at the breakdown from Callum Oliver, Connor Louth and Rhodri Chapman ensured that NHSOB had their fair share of possession.
The pressure told when Taylor Kidd made a good break and fed the elusive Peter Davies who burst through to score. NHSOB continued on the offensive and Connor Louth drove over the line to bring the scores level.
Cwmbran again reverted to using their big runners to drive into the NHSOB defence, but good tackling kept them at bay and it was NHSOB who took the lead when more good work at the breakdown resulted in the ball being fed to NHSOB Man of the Match, Taylor Kidd who capped a fine performance by bursting through to score.
This spurred Cwmbran into action and they came back to draw the scores level as the game entered its final stages. As a draw looked on the cards, NHSOB suddenly broke free through Peter Davies and when he was caught the ball was worked to Aneurin Owen who sprinted over in the corner to score the winning try with the last touch of the game.
