In the end, NHSOB maintained their impressive season's form with a convincing away victory. Although this was a match where defences were on top, NHSOB had more attacking options than the home team and were always ahead on the scoreboard. All the early pressure came from Talywain, spending several minutes camped on the NHSOB line. However, the visitors were able to clear their lines with an excellent kick from behind their own goal line. NHSOB then opened the scoring with a brilliant try from Oliver Johnson, touching down after a mazy run from halfway where he beat several Talywain tacklers. Although Talywain had plenty of further possession in the opening period, they were not able to threaten the NHSOB line due to excellent tackling from the visitors, notably from Darren Whelton and Iwan Nolan. Half Time: Talywain 0 NHSOB 1
NHSOB virtually sealed the game early in the second period, with a try from Alexi Webb, following a powerful run. Although both defences dominated
Man of the Match for NHSOB was Connor Bergstrom for his tireless work rate and never say die attitude.
