NHSOB Under 8’s, captained by Charlie Hiscocks played host to Ynysddu this week in a very entertaining game. It was a fast free flowing game in which the lead changed hand on numerous occasions but no team managed to pull away from the other. What is usually a strong and reliable Old Boys defence seemed off colour and Ynysddu got a lot of success by attacking down the flanks.

Although the Old Boys were suffering in defence their attacking play was superb. Some excellent individual runs from Luca Hoole, Liam McDonald and Man of the Match Oliver Andrew, combined with a fantastic team effort led to a first class display of rugby. The Old Boys passed the ball with precision and offloaded with style. The off the ball running and the supportive play of the entire tem led to some great scores and an eye-catching game of rugby.

The game finished 7 -7 with the Old Boys tries scored by Luca Hoole, Oliver Andrew, Dylan Pollock & Liam McDonald (with a little bit of help!)
