Newport High School Old Boys RFC (founded 1923) a Welsh Rugby Union club based in Yew Tree Lane Caerleon ,the "Old Boys" is very much a community rugby club with a game for all ages, shapes and sizes, skill levels and fitness, running many teams from a First XV, through to Youth, Under 16's to Unders 8's,a Girls Teams and a Specials team.
The club has two full sized pitches, a floodlit training area, with further training areas and mini pitches.
The club house has 4 changing rooms, a bar and lounge area and a kitchen. On Saturday match days the unique camaraderie of the "Old Boys" ensures it reverberates to the sounds of traditional rugby songs and other dubious melodies. On Sundays the atmosphere is of a different kind when the junior players and their families move in and it buzzes with the enthusiasm of the club's younger players.
